How Decatur Realty began ...
Cornelius Ames Byrd started  a real estate business over 35 years ago in downtown Pocomoke City. He chose the name Decatur in honor of the Worcester County patriot and Maryland hero, Stephen Decatur. Bill Byrd, joined his brother and the two were partners until Bill's death.

Dan Pusey later joined  the firm in 2000 and Keri Foster and Debbie Stevens and  joined the firm in early 2002 as a team. This team has been serving the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia, and together have had a successful history of offering property buyers and sellers honest service, commitment and integrity.  The team looks forward to serving you.
